Oaths of Allegiance

BLACK BELT OATH OF ALLEGIANCE
I hereby pledge that I will respect and uphold the rules, regulations, customs, courtesies and traditions of the United States Chung Do Kwan Association.

I promise to be loyal, trustworthy and dedicated to the Association, my Instructor and to the students placed under my supervision.

I also promise never to misuse my knowledge of Taekwondo and will do my very best to support and/or participate in all association activities.

MASTERS OATH OF ALLEGIANCE
I, as a Chung Do Kwan Master, hereby declare my allegiance to the growth and well-being of the U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association.

The foundation of all my activities will be based upon Integrity and Honor. I will continue to develop myself as a whole person as I maintain my physical strength, mental growth and spiritual development.

My weapons shall be truth, compassion and brotherly love. But if I am placed in a compromising position, I shall “mount up with wings as Eagles” and seek wisdom from a higher authority.

I will dedicate myself to serve others and continue my loyal support to those who have helped me achieve this Master’s Degree in the art, sciences, sport and professional teaching of Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan.

GRANDMASTER OATH OF ALLEGIANCE
I hereby pledge my oath of Allegiance to serve the U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association through the office of the Kwan’Jang and President to the best of my ability.

I promise to be loyal, trustworthy and a protector of the USCDKA reputation.

I will also be a servant leader, leading others by example, and looking to help build the USCDKA through my love for Taekwondo and others.

I understand that my new position also places me as an Ambassador for the Association and I am operating under the authority of the Kwan Jang and President.

Today, I accept the greatest USCDKA Black Belt achievement – a true servant leader, the position of Grandmaster.

I hereby agree to all the above.  I also understand that this Office as a USCDKA Grandmaster is an appointed office which must be maintained and renewed annually, and with the help of God, I will live up to the honor that this high position represents.
